CPUZapper, I was reading around on the Big T28 and came across a thread about a "T28 Killer", I guess its a Air Research exhaust side with a big 16g wheel in it. Says it flows 550CFM and its good for about 350 hp with the right tuning on a DSM.
Since this is a 1.6, that turbo would have no problems sustaining 20 psi and not blowing ultra hot air. It would also hold it to redline. The only problem is the flange pattern, and the price. Its around 800 bux or so for one. For that much you could get a T3/T4, or a super 60 easy. I think youre on the right track with that super 60. Ive been looking around, but youre right. The GT28R is the best one for the 4A engine bar none but DAMN its expensive. 86Mister2 theres a guy on my celica board that has manifolds for 7AFE engines. I think that manifold would fit a 4AGE, and he can do any flange for any turbo on there you want I think. Ill see if I can get more info for you and some link to send you to to see about getting one. |
