technical toyota mr2 question
i am totally new to toyota's (owned honda's last 8 years)
so i finally picked up a mk1 after years of wanting one and after reading up on 3rib and 7rib block and the different heads and intake mani's i want to know if the cams are different from say 85-86 compared to 87-89 and if so can i benefit from using earlier cams in my 89?????? or what yar cams would work best in mine for now? |

According to Partznet, Mk1 cams come in 3 flavors:
84-87, SOHC 85-87, DOHC 88-89, DOHC I don't know the specs on any of them though, or if it's physically possible to swap cams. Edit: Hmm, I think this is like a zillion years late. It popped up on the "new posts" list. Oops. |
