Tacho
i have i black top in my 85 and the tacho doesn't work. the guys doing the car havent really looking into it too much but the think the signal from the engine wouldnt be strong enough to activate my tacho could this be true or would they be talking out their asses?

The 4th wire on the igniter plug is responsible for the tach signal. This wire runs through that trunk molex, and on to the tach. Most likely if this isn't working, the wire isn't hooked up.
