adjustable cam gear
ok i might have over looked this but what are the advantages of having one?

You can advance/retard the timing of each cam and tune them until you get optimum power. For a turbo, for example, you might advance the intake cam and retard the exhaust cam for more power/torque.

you can alter your powerband.
make more torque sooner or more hp later. (there are limits) often overlooked but worth it if you want best results. Last edited by mr2ya; 04-06-2008 at 08:27 PM.. |
