please help, transmission is about to go

my transmission is about to go out i can feel it it does not want to shift anymore and now the 5th grear pop out is starting to develope in 4th gear and it will not shift into 2nd maby its just the fluid but i realy want to get a 6-speed off of a 20v if anyone knows where i can get one please tell me i need it asap

They are pretty rare. I'm not aware of any for sale right now.

The celica 6speed is more readily available. Usually $800+ (probably $1000+ this time of year), you'd need to swap bellhousings and use mk2 NA axles to make it work.

on a 20V black top what would i need to use a 6 speed? in aus i know i can get them but i dont know what other parts are required.

You could use a blacktop 6speed just like a blacktop 5speed. The main problem is still the same, the lack of a selector shaft oil seal casting.

how would i go about it, would this be a custom job? sorry this is one thing i dont really know about. do you know if all blacktop 6 speeds came with an LSD?

I am not so sure that any C series transmission even came with LSD. If there are some out there, it is a rare option.

In the case of my blacktop c56, I just switched center transmission casings. The BT 5th gear set is nice in that it has two bolt holes for a steering wheel puller, so taking the tranny apart does not require a SST.

the levin BZ-V and BZ-G had the black top and 5 speed with a helical LSD and
the levin BZ-G and BZ-R had the black top and 6 speed with a helical LSD.

I have a standard 85 trans in my car do you know if the 6 speed gears fit? would the diff be a swap too?
