Need to buy new s/c project car
Hey Guys,
I'm selling the 'ol 89 s/c race car and would like to buy a new 88-89 s/c project car with bad or missing eng/trans/suspension and no rear qtr damages. i have front clip/and most interior stuff now. I have a donor engine 4a-gze and several working c-51 n/a transmissions and tons of n/a drivetrains (which i prefer in mr2 s/c's)in storage Problem is i live "downstate" in the south florida tip.. I'd be glad to talk about any damaged s/c cars Creative shipping ideas welcome Thanks all, mr2tim |

Donar Engine
Hey, I am new at this. Can you tell me if you are asking for an engine or if you have one.
My husband has an 88 MR2 that is in pieces. I want to surprise him and get his car running. It has been in so many hands and is really messed up. I figured the best thing to do is get a whole new motor. From my research his car originally had a 4A-GZE 1.6L supercharged motor. I'd like to get the same one. Can you help me? Thanks, An MR2 lover's wife |

Thanks for the reply.
I'll keep your reference handy. Didn't mean to mislead ya'll, I have the 4a-gze and c-51 trans and need a s/c chasis and ecu/harness. I have 20 yrs of mark1 parts so the donor chasis can be any sort of s/c without wheels, fenders, interior--whatever My big problem is I live next to the everglades, that's way way down the Florida peninsula. I'd be super happy to talk w anybody about any s/c car, in any condition. Thanks everybody! mr2tim |

A Bunch of Parts But I answered that one as well. I've got a spare gze block that your other components could be used with to complete. What state are you in? On topic---sorry mr2tim, I don't have an s/c chassis either. That's why I'm using an '86 chassis to build my track day car ![]() Last edited by 2restomod; 05-06-2008 at 03:37 PM.. |
