During 19 years of racing I've had my axles rebuilt alot.
You think the cv is hard to find try rebuilding the close ratio trans. The parts cost $400 the first time (1991), $1200 the 2nd time. Then I installed the N/A trans, this cost $250 to rebuild. mr2tim |

In all the years of racing MR2's Drag and Road Course I have never replace a AXLE.
