20v ST Block/crankshaft

If I am replacing the crankshaft (bad one due to spun bearing or rod) can ANY 4AGE block/crank work w/ the 20v ST? I need to know b/c I will probably have to buy a used piece and want to be sure they are workable (sorry if its a n00b question).

Any thoughts? I have (b/c I needed the parts) access to an 87 mr2 block w/ the mr2 S/C crankshaft.

Would I need different rods/bearings? Someone please help

The internals of the blocks are the same minus pistons of course.
I "think" the ST bottom has oil squirters and also the ST block has like 2-3 more very small cooling passages around the #1 cyl. But no ones ever had problems putting the ST head on the 16v blocks sooo.

Thanks for the tid-bit. I am buying the 4agze crank from someone who didn't need it I guess. My only other question is the gasket sets. Does anyone know what gasket sets to buy here in the US for the ST?

Since it was JDM, not sure what would fit, and didn't seem to find it in sticky's...

Jeff at Champion Toyota in Texas stocks a lot of 20v parts (plug wires, seals, distributor caps and rotors) He should have the full gasket set as well.

Passracing.com has them too, But check with Jeff at the dealership first, he will be cheaper.

Heres the part # when ordering through either: 04111-16211
