They are primered now, stripped of all 20 yr old.OEM paint.

Keep asking for these from those parting cars, chances are slim for a set of 20 yr old matching Red? That's what makes ther Internet so valuable, years ago you'd have to take what you could get and smile.

It's a buyers market now.

Hi Scotty,

Decided to pull my 88 Supercharged engine and close ratio E-51 transmission and go with the NA.

Yeah, I know you think I'm nuts?

This SC is difficult to get parts for and I have 3-4 cars worth of NA parts, 2 trannys etc

I'm at the point I need a reliable daily driver with parts I can walk into the garage and install if needed.

Still have the 89 Sc on ther road and maybe for sale after the 1st of tyhe year.

i want an engine block and head. i can care less about the other stuff. valve covers would be nice, but i wanna bore it, rebuild it, and make it an NA monster. nobody keeps it NA anymore and i havent seen a 2 in the forum with higher than stock compression, bored out .40 over, with cams.

itll look stock, but pull at least 170 hp by the time im done with what i wnna do. NA is awesome, especially wen theyre revved to 10000 rpms.

if the sc engine is coming out maybe youd be willing to part out the engine.

Very timely reply. See my post today. I'm doing the CS to NA swap in Mid-January for sure.

I've not thought about parting the SC engine coming out, was hoping it off it whole. The self-oiling close-ratio tranny will be offered separately though.

Drop me a line in 3 weeks or so?

Your thoughts on a jazzed up 4a got me thinking about the spare GE sitting out back.

Yes, I just parted a 85 AT car which had black plastic trims and a grey interior roof panel. Really nice console too. Pass side door panel (manual) also in good shape.
