Gas Select Switch . . . hookdy up-dee

For those with swapped in 4agze's, in some cases like mine all the wiring conversion was not done. Nevertheless I had a perfectly functioning Gas Select Switch. It has 5 wires coming out of it. I have a BGB wiring diagram. With only five wires coming out of the switch that limits the number of different possible ways to wire it: down the the low hundreds! After spending several hours with a tester and 6 volt battery . . . I have it.

My switch has a solid yellow, solid white, white grn stripe, and solid yellow, and blue red stripe wires.

Blue red goes to extension of R/P wire from the ECU.

solid Red goes to a ground somewhere under the dash.

Both white wires connect together.

Yellow wire goes to GAG turn signal power source from the kick panel fusebox.

Function after installation is as follows: button out = premium gas R/P wire from ECU is grounded.
Button in: R/P is disconnected from ground, LED light in switch turns on.

O.K. why is this important? It affects your engine's timing. You will probably get a few ponies from doing this.

Your Welcome.
