I know,still looking 4 one to

Update !

Finally got the sw20 end exhaust part fitted correctly on the black wa11 with the 20V.
Cut the middle part out after the flex part [not the cat,.do not have one ] and weld a strait pipe in its place to make room fore it,.made a strong stiff rubber suspension on it to fit the original set up but in a way it can not move to much.
The first attempt I crack the outlet manifold there was to much movement and that gave tension.
But now it works !
And the sound,.the sound OMG !
Way more quiet than the original end pice and it sounds darker !
It sounds a lot like a old type 911 and it is the finishing touch on this project

Hey man i literally just dropped a 20vST into my 85 MKI mr2 ...
what did you do with your vacuum lines that go to the tube right out of the air box? the ones after the AFM? id like to remove that hose so i can put my AFM / filter how you have yours...

also the throttle cable how did you re route it to make it fit properly?
and the coolant hoses? you moved it against the fire wall, what did you do to get it like that? SORRY for all the questions, i am very eager to get mine running and on the road... i am using the 5sp trans that came stock with the original engine >_>, so ima have to get a custom header made to fit around the starter... bah... but man VERY nice work on your MR2...

Club4AG Forum Topics: SilverTop Vacuum lines
theres one with lots of pics. IF you are keeping your power adons. the one on the left is AC idle up and the right is powersteering idle up....they connect to the 2 nipples that you cap on the intake
if not...cap them all
if your tyring to manage the stock airbox in there those vacuum lines are for some kind of solenoid or something. I usggest getting the spectre (pepboys ) 3 inch filter but the shortest one and you can fit the airfilter next to the batter..no rain problems. Also race_guys on ebay has the maf adapter for 5 bucks or so

I just finish a swap on of the two AW11 I own,.
I gave it a 2e gen SilverTop ! its a nice fresh engine with 80.000 Km on it out of a Levin Automatic.
So it never had any hi rpm's and at this time I am careful running this one in.
I done all work simply on the street in the middle of winter
So it took a lot of working ahead and studies but the price was worth it
This was the price,.

If you're very careful with your expenses and find good deals, you can expect to get it done for around 1k. Most of them are more like $1500 though.

Well,,.been out fore a wile, mostly do to relationship problems

The car has been fine al the time,.even been all the way up to Berlin in Germany with it,.
Only one thing I have changed a long time ago but not reported this here and that is that I connected a strong air hose on the air bleeder on top of the valve cover and connected that on to the main inlet house in frond of the airflow meter.
Studying a engine bay picture of a original Levin noted that it shut be like that.
It solved the idle problems from in the beginning.

Today it was time fore the regular oil/filter change,.but change the valve cover along with it and cleaned out the engine bay off all dirt and salt from the snowy months.
The original cover had a crack in it from day one, thanks to my own stupidity.
Took al wile but got a other one and made it clean by blasting.
Made it Silver and put the cable clips over from the old one and there we are,.

And the best one off all is that after a long time I finally have the Mk1b spoiler set complete and have put it on the car,.I love it

Can you take the AFM and the filter out and get a good pic of the vac lines? That's all that is left I think on the 20v I did and It would be very very helpful if I could see that.e

Car looks great. I just wish I could have really drove mine.

Oil is the blood,.oil is da life !

After trying several brands and types off oil I got some advice,.
That advice was worth gold !
What a difference can oil mean for a engine,.MG !
I runs so GD perfect on this stuff that is unbelievable,.
Before the oil consumption was a little 1/4 L on 5000 miles,.still very nice for a ST and the fact I drive mostly short distances.
Put this stuff in it 6000 ago and there is no oil consumption what so ever !
Tomorrow its time to put some fresh in it and a new filter,.and I think that I'll never use some thing else again,.wonder oil,.
The only problem is that I do not know if its Global available,.

Yess !!

Tomorrow is the official day that my AW11 was given his licence plate and road certificate 25 years ago in Holland,. Feb 01 1986

I already have the letter from the district officer that I am clear off all road taxes from that date and that by law my AW11 officially is declared a old timer but whit a clean energy label ! so he goes way up in value !
That also mains that I can get a special Old time insurance that is only available for cars from 25 Y and older,.
In a country where owning a car is as expensive as owning a Boeing 747,.
My MR2 now on yearly basis is cheaper to drive than my scooter,.

^I know the feeling. My 86 is emissions exempt this year. Last year I took my last emissions test with my blacktop and a few months later switched to a beams 3sge. I don't have to worry about trying to get the beams past that test....though it probably would pass.
