ITS ALIVE !!!

Well after 2 1/2 years I finally got my Supercharged 89 Mr2 running and about ready to finally drive ..

everything on the car is pretty much new (unless its missing, got the car as a shell and a bunch of boxes of parts from Joe Vick)

1989 SC Mr2
Black on Black LEATHER (stock seats are in basement, so grey cloth for now)
12" Vick Brothers Big Brake kit on front
(Wilwood rotors, aluminum hats, and outlaw racing 4 piston calipers)
10.25" two piece calipers in rear to match fronts
5 Lug Conversion
Custom Coilovers (stiffer spring rate)
Adjustable Tokico Struts (5 settings)
Poly bushings all around
HKS Exhaust
17" rims on Khumo tires
Fully Rebuilt steering / suspension

and I could go on for a while .. but heres a video

ignore my brother in the background saying "im gay" at the beginning .. he's just jealous that I got a supercharged mr2 and he's drivin the ragged out Z .. haha

oh and the shiny silver 07 350z touring .. thats my new daily driver / toy

Just got back from the auto parts store ..

got my 12" front wilwood rotors turned just to make sure there straight .. last time I went to get them turned the old guy working there wouldnt even touch them b/c they say "NOT FOR STREET USE" on them .. haha

I got hookups now and got the younger guys to turn them for me .. now there all nice and shiny and the "NOT FOR" is no longer there

As for my rear brakes .. I got the aluminum hats to match the fronts but with a 10.25" rotor so I can use the stock caliper

dont have the rotors and went to summit racing and they didnt have the right ones

so a little searching online and $190 later I'll have some nice new rotors wednesday for the rear to bolt up to the aluminum hats ..

the previous owner (Joe Vick) hacked away at the stock rotors to get them to fit with the 5 lug conversion temporarily
