You can use the c50's gearing without a problem. The only difference between the c50/52 and the c56 is the c56 has a bit shorter 3rd and 4th. The 6speed is nice, but not necessary.

The one issue you'll run into with the C50 is the fact that the starter mounts on the exhaust side, which interferes with the BT exhaust manifold. You'll need to either get a C52, where you can mount the starter on the intake side, or make a custom exhaust manifold so it clears the starter.
Make sure you read all the stickies on what you need to do the swap. Most of it is pretty easy, but there are a few snags to look out for. Have mr220v modify the wiring harness for you, unless you enjoy pain and suffering. |
