i plan for a really little turbo on my st at some point with a custom built intake design i've been drawing up. but it has to have some parts replaced to make more then a few psi boost

20V turbo is actually pretty common... you will need aftermarket pistons as the 20V's are not forged and are high compression. You will also need a custom plenum, as the stock plenum is good for about 5psi.

the block, crank, and rods are actually quite beefy in the 20V.... actually larger than in the same years of the gze... which makes no sense, but is true....

if they werent high compression he may be ok with stock, but they are high compression.

think of it like a baloon. you can squeeze a baloon all you want with no air in it. its fine. or even with some air in it. itll be ok.

but force more air into the baloon til its full of air (like a turbo fills the cylinder with air) thn squeeze it. itll pop.

high compression+boost=boom (a lot of the time)

no... I said they will need new pistons as (aka because) the 20V pistons are not forged and are high compression....
