Register at the twobrutal forums and then go to the filestore section and there is a 3sgte template .pdf file I used that worked perfect for the celica motor I put in. I used no jig no flash tools i just played with the engine position for a few hours then drilled holes and tack welded the engine mounts into the car before testing the bolts fit through and welding it all up for good.

Kameleon is putting a beams 3s in his car right now. Whatever he comes up with should be able to be duplicated. Mounting a beams 3s really isn't all that hard.

Yup

The main thing is we have 3 test cars, all with BEAMS engines... but no 3sgte's. I am going to try to test my Gen4 3sgte with the mounts to see if it will fit also but would like a few others if possible.

I'd definitely like to help out, but I'm all the way in Seattle. However, if you can think of something that I can do, please let me know.

Eager to hear the results of the attempt at mounthing the GTE in your mounts, keep us posted

just an ideal a 6speed c60 gearbox bolts into the mk1 using the mk1 mounts, if you could find some way to use a c60 box on a 3sgte that would only leave 1 mount to sort out

It is not an easy solution to mount any c-series tranny to an S-series engine. It would require some type of adapter plate. We are nearing an end on our solution of the mounts. So be patient and you will be rewarded.
