im not sure if this has been brought up
but i have an mk1 and im looking for a good clear bass maby a little kick in there as well. but i have t-tops so my space is limited behind the seats i take off my tops a lot lol. i was wondering if there was any where else i could hide the subs like somewhere under the dash or sneaky like that just a thought

you could try under the passenger seat or behind the passenger seat just don't make that person move too back
pioneer and i think polk audio make a thin sub of somesort made for like trucks with 2seats only but yeah its really not that bad, you could make your own custom box to fit behind the seats and hide the amp under the passenger seat |

Audiowerks (AudioWerks) does some custom boxes. I have one of theirs in my MKII, loaded with a Boston Acoustic G1. Sub/Enclosure on Passenger side and amp on driver side. T-tops still fit, just a little tight. The Shawn M enclosures (MR2 Speaker Enclosures . Com). Good Luck.
