Re: Whats your pick? Tail Lights

I definitely like 94+ tails. I have owned two 92's now n they both had 94+ tails.

Thank you for the compliment

Smile

this is the custom led tail light i made

tail light on (very defined clear circle)

brake light on (all 48ledx4 goes on at same time) (also have a mode to just glow the outer circle for preference setting).

also had 24 white led block per light set up for reverse light as well.

the rear stop light made up of around 48 hi power led per light, the result is amazing

That custom setup looks pretty sick, I like it. You did the LED install yourself? You have some skills man!! Great Job!!

I'm about to go 94/91 hybrid myself but wanted a reverse light so here's what I did.

I just bought a set of 94+ tails but got the Japan spec so the corner lights are not drilled and I'm gonna leave it that way so the corners are not functional. Also ordered the MR2 logo light kit from Ben in white/red and he's making the circuit work that while in reverse the MR2 logo will light up in white, otherwise the logo will be red.

So there you have it, 94+ tails with the 91 center panel AND working reverse lights.

No I don't, I realized that since my rear end is busted up some (last owner got rear ended twice) the old tails actually bent with the body, so the new tails don't fit. Now I have to put them aside until I repair the body first.

I know, I was all psyched to get the tails on there. Took out the 91 tails harness, clipped off the reverse and corner lights, capped them off and put everything in the 94 tails and started putting the on...and walked away with my head lowered in shame.

94+ tails ftw

94+ tails ftw. I picked up a set of 94 tails for 52 dollars shipped off ebay. Cracked corner but my 91 corner fits perfect. Just have to be patient and you can find what you want for a awesome deal. Now on the search for a stroker motor and twin disk clutch for a deal. Yeah the 91 corner doesn't fit properly.

The corner light off a 91 will not fit in the corner of the 94 lights.
