just dropped off my car to get it painted

decided on a gunmetal paint .. getting everything done ( jambs etc ) kinda excited. was almost gonna do a burnt copper color . but it was a little more money for the painter and not sure if id like it

should take about 1 week and i paid 800 bucks base coat clear coat and the guy is a legit painter has a huge booth and what not. now i need to get rid of my gunmetal rims and get black ones.

are you having any body work done as well like dings and dents? $800 is very very cheap for a full paint job.

I'd be weary.

actually my body is in very good shape... plus i have grown up with the kid that is painting my car so hes giving me a little deal. he is some manager for a big boat company and worked his way up starting out fiberglassing and painting and what not. so he knows his stuff. i dont even think he has started painting the car we just got dumped about 3 feet of snow in 3 days up here so i could care less ill let it sit in his heated garage.
