O and i took my car to a custom shop up the street from me and they said they would paint the whole car for only $1800 thats wit removing all the doors etc but iDk it sounds almost like a Sh!tty Maaco job but i was thinking if i buy the paint how could they go wrong especially since i have no dents at all and i might sound it myself

hmm $1800 isnt too bad. I'd do some research on the shop and if they check out, good deal!
I had a shop quote me $3000+ and they did ****** work. I had them paint my front bumper and it was chipping off not even 2 days later. |

yea thats my plan cuz other shops i called said about 3-4k and wow 2 days later..DId yu go back?? i would of complain for a full refund & to respray my bumper thats insane worse than Maaco I think...............& the paint i have right now is by far not the best in the world but when cleaned up it looks very nice(repainted pearl white) but the bumper has a couple of major chips of paint off so i think imma jus get it resprayed and start saving up for the widebody

I had my car painted from maaco (not because I wanted a high quality job mainly just so the car would look refreshed and get rid of the black replacement door I had to install due to PO sliding it into something)
Paid like $550 let them do all the work and almost a year later is still in really good condition considering. No flaking or chips. Heres a pic of my car recently at the track. (yes the valance is scrapped but i dont care. its a valance and I use my car lol) ![]() |

yea it doesnt look bad at all mayb yu got lucky??..Im sure not every shop does crappy jobs because it highly depends on how they prep the car applying the paint is the easy part....and i hope ur paint does last cuz they told me the $600 job has only a year warranty??!
