Remove Original Corners

Hi Everyone,

I don't consider myself even an amatuer mechanic by any means, but I think I can do this. If I buy clear corners on EBay, I'll want to know how to remove the original ones, but I can't find instructions on this. Does anyone know where I can go to find instructions on removing the corners on my 2? Thanks.

pop the corner light (one with no bulb) Pull it slowly where it separates while pushing the other piece so that it stays in place. Once the corner is out, there is a screw that is holding the other piece.

Glad to hear your gettin new corners! I got the smoked ones from some online company in France. Anyways- make sure that you remove the square clip from each original corner and snap them in the new ones!!!!!!!!!! otherwise you can't pop them in for that flush OEM look. Very easy install..Good Luck!!

All you do is pull them out and disconnect the wires and then plug the new ones in and push them in

Mine were blue. They snap in on the inside to fasten the corner down tight. ive got a 91, so I dont know if its different between years. You can tell that they are missing from the new ones if you look at them side by side.

I'm hoping someone can provide a picture of this. It does look like you can snap it in and out, but I don't want to pull it and then break something by mistake.

i flip my headlight up. take the cover off the headlight. stick my hand down where the headlight is until you reach the corner light. and just push the whole thing out. it should pop right out really easy.

Good thinking frankie... I'm too lazy to take the cover so I just try to pop it right out from the lenses themselves.... Besides, my hands are probably too big to fit on that side hahahahaha
