how to fasten side skirts

My Side skirts were held in with screws that are all rusty and nasty.. Whats the recommended way to mount a side skirt on?

I was thinking the plastic bumper clips

I was shocked that they just used regular screws.. At least use galvanized ones so they don't rust.

Yea, I thought it was implied that you only use the stock mounting bolts, not drill 10 screws into your frame, maybe I should of clarified...

If the stock screws are used in the stock locations, they shouldn't rust. So, someone used non-stock screws or something.

To hold down parts other than were there are no stock bolt holes, use tape.

Never used Rivets for pete sake.. thats just as terrible, if not worse than screws. And, just say no to WOOD screws.. thats just pathetic. Remember these are appearance mods for the most part , and why people do stuff like that is beyond me. Heck, why put a body kit on at all if you can't do it the right way.

Just buy the correct stock screws. Those won't rust.

exactly.. someone that had the car before me put 4 screws along the door which rusted.. I wanted to try to get some good primer in those holes when I paint the car, and then use the bumper fasteners if needed.

Maybe someone can tell me if this sounds right.

4 along the door sill - WRONG
2 ontop of the engine intake that tuck under the molding
2 in the front behind the front wheel. - ill try to get a picture to clarify.
