Safely remove stick-on decals (for later use)
It's time for me to start prepping my mr2 for sanding/painting, and I'm trying to figure out how I can remove certain decals to be added back on later.
Since my car was more or less de-badged before I bought it, the only real decal left is on the front: A few quick searches found me only information on removing vinal, which doesn't help me... is this a simple heat & pop-off type thing? Also, how can I re-attach it when all is said and done? thanks in advance ![]() |

How'd you get it off? Just a little heat and a flathead?

Mine pops off with a credit card by just sliding it under and popping it up, Mr Jas decided to steal mine one day as a joke and I lost it thinking it got debadged. It then just pushed back on and clips into place. I glued the one on my racecar when I put it back on and that thing won't move.
