Does anybody know what front bumper/ body kit is????
I saw these while i was looking for future bodykits to buy. And also, is the one in red a TRD bodykit, because it looks different.

ew to the second ones hood.
the first 3 are not TRD or wide body. the first through 3rd one is a pic of the Bomex front and side skirts. with knock offs. just get the TRD! or the full on border, it is on ebay at the moment.-H |

ok so the 3rd pic is a modded bomex front but the first two are not bomex. the first one has a point in the middle of the bumper. i havnt seen any kits on the internet with that on it. as for the second, it looks similar to the bomex kit but the sides on the front are a little different.
now as for the TRD kit, the side skirt has a vent near the front tire that doesnt come with the original TRD kit. and the front fenders look different too, they have the opening in the rear of the front tire. are there more than one versions of the TRD kit? |

#1 no idea...
#2 and #3 have different makes on the bomex. #4 and #5 are the same car, just can't see the dip in the fender in the 4th shot. there are different makes of the "same" body kit. so it's really hard to say. I'm not a fan unless you know for a fact it's the fitted kit. -H |

i just upload 2 more pics of the same car. I think the last image was just photoshoped to look like that but damn, those photoshoped fenders and skirts look bad ass. thats how the TRD kit should have looked like.

#1 looks like a knock off "improvement" of the Doluck

#1 is a doluck type, but i think it has definitely been worked over a bit. #2 & #3, like someone else said, are two different bomex kits. the red cars are all trd widebody kits. the last pic had the front bumper modded on the sides behind the front tires, but it is still the same car. its just a pic taken after the mod (hence the word "recut" on the pic)

i dont plan to but those spoilers do have a purpose. if your car is strictly track use and you want good down force to clear those corners faster, front spoilers do that. it looks nasty but effective. there was a scion TC at willow springs recently that had a huge front spoiler, but it got good lap times because of it |

but back to the topic on hand, im partial to the border and toms kits. not too fond of much else. the trds are nice, but im just not a big fan of the widebody look. |

in those two pics of the same car, looks like the side skirt is also a part of the fender, and it also looks like it may have been a bolt on, and changed it pretty quick for some shots?
who knows, who cares, go for the real deal! -H |

go with your gut man, and pick out what you think looks good. in the end that's all that counts. just make sure you keep all the OEM stuff just so we don't have to hunt it down when we restore some of our 2z. -H |
