so trying to decide on a color

So as of right now I have 3 colors picked out but its such a tough decision. If I was ballin I would just buy a few mr2's and paint them each one of the colors lol. My colors of choice are...white, rsp blue, and sunset orange. I really think the white looks clean yet mean. and I love blue's especially rsp blue. and sunset orange I like as well. I just bought my mr2 about a week ago well wait not even. I think tomorrow makes a week. It was red and someone painted it yellow. Well they did a crappy job. So I'm deff fixing that. I paint cars for a living so luckily to tools and resources are ready available its just a matter of eeny meeny miney moe. heres some pics of the colors. sling your opinions my way to maybe help me think out my options. I also thought about a gunmetal but unsure on that one right now.

heres my mr2 as is now

ok heres my color choices
first up white

now for rsp blue

and then sunset orange

That's a bit of a tough one. I know white is a coveted MR2 color & has a slightly higher resale value, but that blue looks pretty good. I'd probably still pop for white, especially since the yellow underneath would be less obvious than a dark color overtop.

That sunset orange, though original, might be something you tire of over the long haul.

Those are pretty rims but you need fatter rear wheels/tires (oops, sorry - just my love of fat tires on a deuce coming out )

I say you can't go wrong if you go with white, but the other colors have to be the perfect shade to look nice. Good luck with deciding on a colour, its been so many months now for me and I still cannot decide!

White looks great and is boring. The blue looks good and will get you the right kind of attention. The orange looks good and will get you the wrong kind of attention.

Right attention = afficionados, women

Wrong attention = hoons and cops

Meh I like to keep my faded, cracked "rare" paint to just gets that old car look going on I think white and blue the orange is out, I do like that blue whatever you will enjoy cruising in and walking backwards staring at. At home job or going to take it to a shop?

I'm deffinetly not worried about resale I'm keeping this baby I just got it. I'll prob and plan on keeping it forever! mwhahahah! Well I will deffinitley be stripping this down to bare metal there is no way I would trust my paint over the top of theirs. for one they used single stage for two their stuff is peeling pretty back and just looks bad. so I don't have to worry about the yellow showing through. and I always use valueshade/sealer which seals off any old contaminates and gives the car an even base before the base coat as well. those are the rims that came with it. as for fatter tires does this do it for ya

you sure about that? lol no worries I'm leaning towards the rsp blue anyways. i believe its a factory supra color I know we have two mkIII supras at our shop that has it on them and it looks sick. but then again the white does look good as well.

I want a paint booth I have to kick stones waiting for a good forecast and low humidity. And a good paintgun doesn't go amiss last car I did I used a 20 year old primer gun for topcoat, somehow it didn't actually turn out that bad.

The upshot is while I'm waiting round for a sunny day the halfboard gets a workout to get the car really flat. Just so boring takes so much prep but then the paint itself takes a day to shoot. No one really does their own cars much I think it is lots of fun restoring them myself engine to body and back again.

that blue looks great but white is exactly what the sign behind your car reads "Majestic".

Beachbum,

I recommend going white, specifically, pearl white. Mine is done in Mazda's 3-stage.
Diamond Pearl.

Plus, are you doing a total inside/outside paint job?
