I am looking at buying some aftermaket shocks and lowering springs. What would be the best combo for everyday driving/drag/road coarse etc... I am looking for a ll around setup but do not want it to be to stiff and bouce all around. I also looking for a raked look if possible! Please let me know!! I was gonna do a poll on this but i am a newb when it comes to suspension. So i would not no where to start for combinations. I would also like it to be somewhat affordable. I was gonna do a whole colover setup but do not have all the cash for that. So i am looking for something to get me bye until i decide or have enough money for coilovers!! Thanks, Dan.

I haven't driven on enough to give you a good answer, but prokit and agx is fine by me as far as a budget setup. illuminas are good too and a little softer if that's what you want.

Here is a direct quote from a post I did a few days ago on IMOC, not sure if it will help. If you want to drag then you'd probably need stiffer. Getting an all around combo for what you want isn't easy unless you've got coil-overs so you can adjust certain aspects of your suspension.

Hmmmmmm!! I was thinking about rs*r springs and some adjustable struts. But unsure what brand. And still stay in somewhat a budget.

agx is the cheapest adjustable (and probably most durable), but some think they're too harsh. no problem for me.

So you have used them before? How is the ride? Hard, bouncy? Or actually pretty good? |

I think it's pretty good. I've put a decent number of miles on celebdae's car with those and prokit.
I'd say roads around here are average. the illuminas I had on my old deuce were softer, but if I was spending money again I'd take agx's for less money over slightly more adjustability. |
