Spacer idea
Ok i'll probably get flamed about this but has anyone thought of running washers as a spacer? were looking at 1mm to 3mm max. what do you guys think

I think you'd have to have very very finely machined washers measured with a micrometer to be able to do that without throwing a tire off balance. I don't see why it wouldn't be doable though.

Yes, I have heard of it being done. Actually, a friend of mine did it for a long time with no troubles. I wouldn't recommend going past 3mm though.
Just gotta find the flatest washer possible. |

I've only seen that on a ratted out monte carlo, seriously.
The washers will need to be strong enough to not get mashed under 80 ft/lbs too.
