Tire/Rim fitment issues....HELP!

I was about to bolt up some rims to my car tonight when we cam across a problem on the front.

the tire was wedged under the spring seat on the strut, I still have stock suspension and the tire size is

225/45/zr17

17x7.....

help! Do i need new tires? Struts?

whats the offset on your rim?

If you're referring to the front then offset doesn't really matter here. 225/45-17 isn't going to fit, no where, no how. Go 215/40 and you'll be fine.
