Torque Specs for Volk GT-C
Does anyone know the torque specs for Volk 2 piece wheels? I disassembled mine to have them powdercoated but I haven't been able to find the specs to put them back together yet.
EDIT: Answer to my own question: The bolts are small so in my case 25-27 is about the norm. I torqued them all to 27 and haven't had any problems, although I broke two because I waited too long after putting thread lock on them. Installing and torquing them down is a tedious task. Just take the time and apply thread lock on them one at a time. I assembled the wheels and torqued them all to 15 lbs without thread lock, then went back and removed the bolts one at a time to apply thread lock and re-torqued them to 27. I did this in a star pattern doing the two inner bolts of each spoke in a star pattern until all 5 were done, then the outer bolts of each spoke in a star pattern again until they were all done. I used the medium strength thread lock and haven't had any problems with them coming loose. Here's some pics. Before After ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Apparently RBWheels can provide those specs for you.
Edit: They look really nice in black, by the way. For some reason with the shaved mouldings, the wheels almost put the car in silver overload, IMO. Should look really good! |

I don't like them.

They definitely look good. My personal preference is lighter colored wheels though.
What else you got planned for that bad boy? |

Is your car color the Oyster code ? It looks that way in the first picture. Here is a thought why not have the wheels the same color

I'm going to rebuild my C7Rs, I'd imagine a similar torque spec would work fine for them also? They're also wheels built by Rays.
