Rear brakes squeel

Got a question for someone:

I just had the rear wheel bearings replaced. The mechanic mentioned that a caliper on the passenger side was bent or a rotor was warped. The noise is like the wear indicator scratching (constant while rolling) and then when you brake more than a soft brake or once the rotors are warmed up it squeels (not constant, but every totation of the wheel)

What are the chances that the rotors are warped, compared to the calipers being bent(never heard of that)

any chance of them seezing up while breakig

Based on what you said, I'm assuming the pads are good. It seems extremely unlikely the calipers are bent, unless something happened while the wheels were off. If I had to pick between the two, I'd say warped rotors.

pads are new (front).....was just informed by passenger that it is actually the front that is making all the noise....
