thread engagement - how much is "enough"

I finally got of my arse and got the Millinea/TD wheel setup on my car (24lbs of weight savings total)

The rears I'm not completely happy with as I only have 8 turns of engagement on the lugs. Looking at how much lug that uses its "ok", but I would prefer to see quite a bit more turns (the fronts are 12ish, I stopped counting).

Is that enough to be safe on track?

Eight is fairly standard for many cars, and is therefore sufficient. You can review the following link which provides additional information: Wheel Tech - Wheel Lug Torquing
