thread engagement - how much is "enough"
I finally got of my arse and got the Millinea/TD wheel setup on my car (24lbs of weight savings total)
![]() The rears I'm not completely happy with as I only have 8 turns of engagement on the lugs. Looking at how much lug that uses its "ok", but I would prefer to see quite a bit more turns (the fronts are 12ish, I stopped counting). Is that enough to be safe on track? |

Eight is fairly standard for many cars, and is therefore sufficient. You can review the following link which provides additional information: Wheel Tech - Wheel Lug Torquing
