Would 5mm be enough???? Pics inside

So i have a pair of 18x8.5 +40 for the fronts... i tried fitting them but the rim contacts the shocks, im planning to get 5mm spacers with extended studs. but would 5mm be enough? or should i go 10mm???

Here's some pictures of the 18x9.5 +38 in the rear, i'm also considering getting 5mm spacers for the rears, so the rears would at least stick out more than fronts

get some cheapo autozone spacers to test. once you figure out exactly how far out you need/want to be, return them and order good stuff with extended studs like h&r or project kics or eibach.
