tires

Hey does anybody know anything about capital or westlake tires? I called a couple of tire shops to get some prices on some cheap tires and they gave me these brands. I am not trying to spend alot of money and get really nice tires so I have lowered my standards. R these tires reliable or good.

Thanks

why cheap out on tires? they are the only thing that hopefully makes contact with the road and therefore can be the most important part of the car. what's the point of having an mr2 if you can't go around a turn at more than 5 mph.

How much are you willing to spend on tires anyways? take a look at Tire Rack - Your performance experts for tires and wheels

I brought 2 falken ze912 for my rear for $170, and to have them mounted and balanced was a other $20, the cheapest tires I ever used was General Exclaim UHP, they were a lot better then I thought.

Good. They are both complete rubbish and have no business being on a car that is meant to be driven.

Where are you located? There aren't that many options that have the right sizes. The BFG Traction T/A's aren't bad if you don't need much for snow traction. 912's are a decent option too but I don't think they're available in the right sizes.
