abs question

Stupid question but an important one none the less, current mr2 has abs & lsd system and im looking at potiental gen 3 turbo halfcut that is a non-abs version, does that mean that

a) i need a pair of rear gen3 turbo abs hubs to keep my abs system.
b) Keep an eye bout for another halfcut.

are the LSD and non-LSD outer hubs different? I thought it was just the inner ends of the axle that was different but...
