Brake Kit upgrade

Has anyone upgraded their brake system with Baer Brakes? Just looking for some advice. Perhaps some recommendations?

are you going for looks or performance? If performance, what kind of driving do you do?

A little of both. I would like red powder coated calipers and shiney slotted/drilled rotors. I don't race my MR2, but I want brakes that perform well and look cool.
