rota or rx7 wheels
like the title says. i'm torn between two sets of wheels. i was offered a set of gen 3 rx7 wheels for 450 ( they come with brand new tires but i wont be using the front tires because i would have to stagger them). Or i was thinking about a set of rota p45r/p45 combo staggered or double staggered. does anybody have any experience with rotas? any info would be great.

P45's look good on evo's. I've yet to see them on a MK2. The only decent sizes i've seen (at least from machiii) was 17's with 7.5 +45 (would look great with a 20mm spacer or if it came in a +25) and the 9 +25, would obviously need a roll.
FD wheels look OK, they're cheap, lightweight and make for great track rims. You'll need a spacer to clear up front. Rears don't need a spacer but would be quite tucked as-is. You can probably find a set for cheaper than 450 though... |
