Smile New JDM GEN3 Owner is looking for wheels!

Hello All,

I just purchased a minty 1994 Mr2 Turbo from Japan with the Gen3 engine. I'm excited about the car, as i didn't expect it to be so fast out of the box. There is no mods on the car either, just ordered an Apexi Intake and looking for some wheels.

I've found some Work Emotion XD9 for a good price.
The size and offset is as follows:

17x8.5 et32 Front
17x9.5 et38 Back

The car will be on stock suspension, can anybody comment on the fitment?

Nice purchase. The Apexi intake is nice, but there's better intakes out there worth looking into. What are your plans for the car?

Honestly, gonna try to keep it nice and clean. the car only has 38,xxx original km's and i don't want to do anything too extravagant. Most likely some nice wheels, exhaust, intake and down the road some coils ; - )

The other setup i found that i'm intersted in is a set of Rays Gramliths 57C

17x8.5 et40
17x9.5 et38

Gordaen's Toyota MR2 Wheel and Tire Calculator

first set will work but are past the fenders a bit. slight dorifto look.

second set is likely to interfere with front suspension. spacers required.
