Theyre cooler than hell, but HOLY CRAP did you see the price for a set?

You could have a 94 MR2 Turbo or 2 for the cost of those wheels...

That is the coolest thing ever, now if I would ever put something like that on my car is another story. It would be cool to change from a digital five spoke wheel one day, to mesh spokes the next....

Thats freaking awesome, that creator is going to make soooo much money off those.

They only work if the wheels are spinning, the led strip or what ever they use lights up a certain segment of the strip, and when it spins around it creates the full image. It works similar to those clocks that make that 3-d time circle.

But in order to do that it would have to know how fast the wheel is spinning no? It would have to light up a single location over and over and over.. Know what I mean?

It would prob have to have a way to sense the speed to variate the light speed, and there is prob a min mph for you to see the image and not just streams of light.

It's simple: Just put a simple sensor on the wheel to determine the wheel speed and then "rotate" the image at the same speed. You could even just tap into the speedo wire and the computer controlling the display will account for its own rim size to correct for oversize.

Whoever holds this patent is definately 100% set for life.
