10mm spacers come with hub centric rings?

Hey Guys I got some 17 Inch Enkei rimbs with 235/45 in the front and 255/45 in the rear. I have 10mm Spacers from ichiba, but the problem is they are not Hub Centric. I originally bought the wheels from Vivid racing and they did not come with hub centric rings and they told me they do not come with any.

After putting the 10mm spacers it's ok, but i get a little bit of vibration around 65-80mph. I like it to be perfect hate even a little vibration. Anyone know of any 10mm spacers that are hub centric? Thank you!

Does anyone know if hub centric rings^spacers have to be specific for the type of wheels I have or how does that work?

H&R spacers are hubcentric, but they're not cheap - as much as $50 per side in some places. I believe they're German and it shows. They fit like a glove and are made to order for our 60.1mm (I think) hub diameter (specify your make/model/year when ordering). They snap right into place and stay there on their own. They eliminate or reduce substantially that famous MR2 front-end shimmy.

Awesome ill do a search. Even if they are a bit expensive as long as they work I will be happy. Do I need to rebalance and re align the car again after removing my spacers and installing the new h&r hubcentric spacers?

the centerbore on the 15mm Ichibias I have are the same as stock - 60.1mm. You then need another set of rings to step up from that diameter to your wheel's centerbore...

Are you looking for hub centric rings or hub centric spacers? It sounds like you want the Hub Centric rings for the wheels.

You're Enkei wheels are not hub centric, so without hub centric rings on the wheels, hub centric spacers are a moot point.

You need to get hub centric rings which have the proper inner bore for an MR2, and the proper outer bore for the wheels.

After this, you can install the wheels on the car (or on the hub centric spacers) and it will be hub centric.

America's Tire Company can order in (if they don't have it in stock) hub centric rings for Enkei wheels which work with an MR2. Should be around $10 for a set of 4.

Just drive down to your local America's Tire/Discount Tire Company and talk to them.

Oh thanks for the info man. Yeah these wheels did not ship with hub centric rings. According to vivid racing they don't use them.

You are very welcome. Vivid is full of crap. The Enkei's don't come with them. That doesn't mean they "don't use them."

Hub Centric almost never come with aftermarket wheels, at least not from the wheel manufacturer. Like lug nuts, the rings are typically made by another company. Just because wheels don't come from Enkei with lugs doesn't mean they "don't use them." It's the same thing with hub centric rings.

As I said above, America's tire will look up the center bore of the inside of the wheel, and the center bore of an MR2's hub (which is 60.1mm if I remember correct). Once they have these numbers, they will order the hub centric rings with the correct inner/outer bore.

There are two types of rings, plastic ones and metal ones. Get the metal ones. Plastic ones can melt. America's Tire should be $10-15 for a set of 4 metal ones.

Here are some pictures of a set of 4 metal hub centric rings. The rings you get from America's tire are nice anodized aluminum rings like the ones in the picture below, so they will not rust.

This is a picture of a guy installing hub centric rings. You can see, you put the ring in the middle of the wheel. The ring you by after they look up the measurements fits in the center of the wheel, and then this will center the wheel on the hub when installed (like stock).

Here's the ring installed on the wheel

Here's a picture of the ring next to the hub.

Here's a picture of the ring on the hub. You can see it's centered on the hub, so the wheel will be hub centric

I'd like to see pics of that. That's probably the fattest & tallest front tire anyone has mounted on an SW20 for the street.

    Looks awesome man!!!

Couldn't see the actual size on the tires in any pics, but either way, what are the specs (width and offset) of the wheels?
