Paalo...my hero!

Quick question...

I have a friend who is looking to buy some Motegi FF7s for his mkII. The only width you can get 17s in is 7, which isn't that bad, but what offset should he be looking for? I'm no expert on wheels so I hope this isn't too retarded of a question.

tell him to say screw that trendy polished lip with black center bs and get some wheels that fit properly!

17x7 +42 will work all around but is a pretty bad idea when there's wheels like the mb motoring weapon for less money in nice staggered setups.

comparing similar fitment to the motegi to the weapons:

if he really likes the rear wheels sunken and doesn't want to be able to use wider tires effectively, buy the motegi's.

I am cheating with that top pic. the border sides make the tuck look even worse.
Some people don't even notice because they see it so often, but that's the first thing that jumps out at me when I see a deuce in person and it breaks my heart everytime, lol.
