yup, almost positive I have the info. Just gotta find it.
![]() looks like 18x9 +38 and 18x7.5 +30 - something very close to that anyway. edit: just looked where I thought I had the info and it wasn't there so SOL on that. the wheel is offered in 18x9 +38 and 18x7.5 +35. it would make sense that the copse will get completely replaced by the hyper. Hell I remember looking at the copse in 97.

Thanks, I have already tried a few places but didn't have any in stock. Maybe i'll get lucky. Do you think you could use a spring/strut combo on this or would i have to go coil-overs, I want the s/s cause i've heard that coils are a lot stiffer, i need streetability.
This is what i was thinking, but on a darker red MR2, i want the bronze volk te-37's but don't want to wait 6mths. ![]() ![]() Last edited by $krillz; 05-30-2005 at 06:00 PM.. |

That should look great.
fits coilovers or regular setup no prob. rears will need fender rolls unless you're planning on stretching 235/35 18 out back and that'll probably clear. |

going for show or go?
255/35 or 265/35 rear with 225/35 18 fronts (tight) for go. 235/35 18 rear and 205/35 18 front for show ....... medium stretch, exposed flanges. |

Huh? I should have mentioned that i'm a complete idiot when it come to tires/wheels if you did already know. I want to have street-ability, what about 245/35 for the rear and 215/35 fronts? what do you mean by exposed flanges?
255/265 those are huge tires, a 255 would be more inline with the rim correct? I would like to have some protection and comfort. |

215/35 18 front and 255/35 18 would be a good normal setup. If you're going with better tires than most, like f1gsd3, kdw, s03, etc, then a 245/35 out back should be about even in back. 255 if you're going with something less expensive like fk451, es100, etc.
exposed flanges: ![]() the flange is the part of the wheel between the bead seat and outer edge ........... I'd call it the lip, but now lip is the term used for the spot to lay a $100 bill. ![]() with a show or drift stretch (imo) you can see the tire side of the flange. a mild stretch is having no tire over the top of the flange. normal would be having the tire just over the top of the flange ....... basically tire is even with outermost point of wheel or straight up and down. just my definitions. |
