Lots of 6.5" will fit, but some are too deep. For $21, I can't imagine the magnets on those things are big enough to be obtrusive - but no guarantees.

This is the time Id recommend spending a few extra bucks on something other than those Boss speakers. But you can make most 6.5's work w/out a big hassle

A nice component set *mid range door speakers, tweeters, and crossover* is by far the best sound improvement Ive heard in a small car like our mr2's.
after that, I wouldnt mind an 8", or even a small powered bazooka tube behind the seat. A little low, but im not a big fan of loud bass, so this is just enough to provide a full range of crisp sound. For highway speed driving, esp with the tops off, id still like to have the 3-4" speakers in the rear side panel. |

yea? i use to have a 91T in highschool and fortunitly at that time, my mom worked at Ultimate sound in Pomona, and basically i got whatever i wanted at 50-70% off retail, i got some 12" subs that could handle 800watts that retailed for around $350 for like $90, i put some componet 5.25" in the front and some 4"'s in the rear, and the 12" sub in the frunk and it was cool for about a week
then the hood started to bother me, it looked like it was gonna fly up on me everytime i put some rap on . so for now it's 6.5 components in the front, and if i find some cheapy 3-4"ers i'll put those in too. oh, and im gonna run 2 8" bazooka tubes behind the sit also. |

sounds like a plan.
I had a bazooka tube in my FC rx7 and loved the simplicity of it and decent tight bass along with my 6.5's. your plan sounds decent for the 2. But Id put some time and money into getting a NICE set of true components with a crossover. |
