speaker/tweeter question
Okay im a noob with stereos, dumb question but i just purchased a two way speaker for my doors, it states you cannot have another tweeter hooked up in parallel or it will cause damage to the speakers. I have the premium system and am wondering if the factory tweeters would be hooked up in parallel from factory? or should i just disconnect the factory tweeters?

don't even hook up the stock tweeters if you aren't going to amp them, they will only get like .5W RMS at 10 ohm. so just use the door speakers.

YES you can connect the twetters in parallel . JUST MAKE SURE you have a passive crossover at about 4,000 hz before them or you will fry them
