How to remove the dash?
Hi All, I'm new to this MR2 Board, just bought a 92 MR2 NA few weeks ago.
I would like to know how to remove the dash, since there is noise under the dash near the glove box area. And the noise sounds like something is loose. It only happens when my 2 goes faster than ~50mph. Thus, I would like to remove the dash and see. Any idea? Thanks! |

Removing the dash is a very big job. I would start with removing the glove box and checking to see if anything is loose in the area (A/C blower fan, debris in the air ducts, ect.)

The front of the car where the spare tire and battery and stuff are. The front trunk = frunk.

Wow! Its not fun removing the dash....
Anyway, I found the noise and I fixed it already. Thanks to my wife for spotting the noise while flying in highway!!! The noise was from the passenger's kick panel direction, and I found a piece of plastic trapped in the fender behind the right front wheel. Yea!!!! Thank you for everyone here who helps!!!
