steering wheel
replacing the steering wheel in my mk2, I unfortunately don't have the cover for my fuse box. which fuse do I pull to disable my airbag?

just pull the negative battery terminal off.

... i think he means hes putting an aftermarket one on, and wants the light to stay off.
i think its AM1, if its not ill go check my fuse box and report back.

If you just want the light to turn off, pull the gauge cluster and remove the bulb, just incase that fuse controls anything else in addition to the airbag.

I would have just pulled the light but hey pulling the fuse would be much easier. Now I know.

No problem pal, I came about this the hard way though & don't wish that on anyone, even though removing the Cluster light works real well too (I pulled it out when I put your EMS boost gauge in FWIW).
To OP, if you click on "HERE" in my siggy & scroll down to the last pic you will find that it shows the frunk fuse cover & which fuse was pulled. Daniel ![]() |
