Typically after-market seats require "brackets" (sliders) to mount them, which typically RAISES the seat height by 1" or more.
Wedge engeering makes some side mount sliders, but they will keep the after-market seat at or slightly higher than the OEM seats. Now racing seats that are bolted to the floor (not slide adjustabe) can be 1-2" lower than the OEM seats. But you give up the ability to slide the seat up & back. Or you could find a nice after-market seat & fabricate/weld up your own brackets to try & lower the ride height. FWIW OEM seats & racing seats that bolt to the floor (non adjustable) are about your only "low" choice for tall drivers. ![]() Daniel ![]() |
