I gave up on trying to understand your first paragraph.

As to not being able to get into your trunk with the key, you probably have a valet key. You need a master key to be able to get into the trunk. If you don't have a master key, you can go to the dealership with the title and your vin to have them cut one.

Not all dealerships ask for the title, but they should

There's a good reason there's no cup holders in these cars. They're meant to be driven There are some options though if you're really determined. Do some hunting for cupholders here and you'll find 'em.

I don't know about wether the valet key can open the t-tops or not, I have a sunroof.

When you say there's no pull cord do you mean that it's been broken/cut?

If you have a non-turbo, the center console may work. There was a thread on here a while back about a guy who used a piece of wood and cut two holes for cups in the back of the console. Hard to explain but of you do a search it'll come up. That's a good place to fiberglass a cupholder.

If you're in a turbo with the center console storage box, you're kinda out of luck.

Well you'll get it after you drive more often, or just put it between the door and the seat. or the armrest and the seat.

i had cupholder in the din under the radio it sucks, blocks radio controlls and in hard turns you can get soda all over you or your passenger, so now i just put it between the seat and the armrest, no problems

Use a 1/2 DIN Corolla Cup Holder. Put the DIN radio in the bottom spot, and fab up a 1/2 DIN block off plate above the radio, then put the 1/2 DIN Corolla cupholder above the block off plate. It'll be high enough it won't block radio controls or block you from changing CD's, yet it still holds your drinks perfectly fine.

Putting it between your legs only works if you have an automatic

try shifting with a super sized drink inbetween your legs!?

it usually spills n then you get it all over your crotch...lol

People make this out to be harder than it really is, it amazes me. Both 94-97 and 99-02 Corolla cup holders will work, like I said above. If you look at the interior picture in my sig, you can see the face of cupholder fully retracted inwards above the radio and the turbo timer.
