There are a few laser cutting and engraving places here in Portland I've used over the years for various stuff on my show car. I might try and do a custom one off 94" for myself, but I'd want to know what the heck I'm doing, what parts to get, etc...first. Kind of a way to point me in the right direction. Would you be willing to PM me and help me out? I don't even know it anything would actually come of it, nor would I sell it. It's just I've always like the shaved 94+ panels, but I want reverse lights. This whole idea is just what I've always envisioned.

A handful of MR2 plates, 1 TRD plate, a couple turbo plates...... I am a couple weeks out on turnaround time - I have been busier than ever with other things going on. I can still make one for you, it will just take some time.

Yes, I still have the MR2 plates. Unfortunately, I am far behind on making these. I might not be able to get them together until April. I have had quite a few personal things come up, so I am a little short on time. But I will make them for you

I have always liked this mod. Can you describe how the front cover plate is made? Do you buy a shell or mold one for the lens?

They are laser cut aluminum. The name plate is completely custom made and does not reuse the stock plastic badge. These have to be glued to the garnish.

I pretty much have everything straightened up over here so I can start making these again. I can go ahead and order the LEDs if you are still interested.

So are you considering doing it for the 94-95 tails again?

I should have worded this differently: I can now finish selling the remaining plates that I have already had laser cut. It was making the light bars that was holding me back. We are no longer making new plates - just selling what we have left in stock. So the 94-95 project isn't going to happen for a while.

These are still available. I finished a TRD plate for someone, so I have 2 left. You can be one of 3 people in the world with a lit TRD nameplate

I no longer have any more powdercoated MR2 plates. All that I have left are painted MR2 plates and "reject" plates. I still have a very few powdercoated TRD/turbo/SW20 plates left.
