i figured out how to get the circuit board out of the window controller thing so i was going to change the leds to red, it looked like a simple unsolder the old one sodded the new ones in, now neither of the windows will roll down, on the driver or passenger side, i didnt mess with the passenger side at all.
any idea what i screwed up? |

Its pretty easy to mess up the circuit board by souldering it wrong. And if you mess up the driver side one the passenger side won't work. Check your soulder again and make sure it touches all of the little path looking things.

Here use this post to check & make sure you soldered in the LEDs correctly & have the right resistors for them, just scroll down & Half Spec shows the + & - sides of the circuit boards for the window controls.
01/04/07 As for the other window, countyboy is right, if the main board is messed up the passenger side will be too. But, the passenger side controls should still work or you may have a problem with the wiring harness in the doors. This is a very common problem & can be fixed as shown here... MR2 door wiring fix How-To Hope this helps! Daniel ![]() |
