resetting the stock radio... help?

the BGB refers me to the owner's manual - which I can't find, I've moved too many times since I last needed it

can someone outline the steps to unlock the stock radio and possibly give me a hint towards what the default code is (ie which part of the vin, or whatever it is) - this is for my '91 NA if it matters

I have the manual for my 94. Unfortunately, it says the code is set by the user...indicating there is not a default code.

I will PM you the steps for cancelling.
