maybe a newb question, not sure though. Lol

Alright so I replaced my old aftermarket radio that came in the car and took out the 6 cd changer out about a year ago. When I did I found this...

It was up behind my radio. My question is when I took all that out my factory sub behind the driver seat gets no power. That speaker was blown long before I got the car but I did plug a speaker into it when I had my old radio before and it work. Now if I plug anything in it I get nothing. No power coming to that plug either. I plugged the 9 pin plug-in up like it was but nothing. Does anyone know what that box does? I'm not an audio guy. And that doesn't have anything to do with the sub does anyone know why it might not be working.

Alright I just got back inside from messing with it. I got it working. The wire for my antenna and my amp for the sub I'm guess wasn't connected. Its a dark blue one that says amp. power, I just got power to it and everything works great. I do have to have that box hooked up though. Can someone still explain to me what that box is?

My Google Map

I googled it and it might be part of an alarm module

yel - battery (fused - value unknown)
red - ign
wht - (-) trigger
pur - (+) trigger
grn/org - call a: send to ground for 1.5 seconds to transmit to pager
blu/blk - power ant control: goes to 12v when pager transmits
blk - ground
lt blue - power antenna control (FROM radio)

I think what it does is pages you if someone sets off your alarm. I sort of gathered that from this site Coldspeed.net
I have no idea how it works though
